Storing Leftover Paint: Store any leftover paint for future touch-ups. Use plastic wrap over the opening before sealing the lid to keep the paint fresher. Store paint cans upside down; this creates an airtight seal to keep the paint from drying out. Always store paint in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children and pets.

Tool Storage: Once your brushes and rollers are clean and dry, store them in their original packaging or wrap them in a paper towel to retain their shape. Store brushes vertically, with the bristles up, to prevent them from bending.

Removing Painter's Tape: Wait until the paint is dry to the touch before carefully removing painter's tape. Pull it off slowly at a 45-degree angle to avoid tearing or peeling off the paint.

Safety Measures: It's important to dispose of empty paint cans and other waste properly. Many towns have special facilities for disposing of paint, so check with your local waste facility.

Remember, safety doesn't end with the completion of painting. Keep rooms well-ventilated until paint fumes have completely dispersed.
